(1) Where payment was required to camp. However we always buy an annual pass for the state, and this sometimes covers camping.

(2) Year 2 gas was higher because we spent 6 months in Tasmania and used the heater a lot more than usual.

(3) Year 2 beer was lower because we started making home brew in year 1.

(4) Fuel was almost the same in years 1 and 2 even though we did less distance. Presumably this was caused by the hilly roads in Tasmania.

(5) Includes all type of "accomodation", from caravan parks to gold coin donations and honesty boxes.

Our "financial year" begins on the 26th of March even though we hit the road six months before that. This is because the first six months were not typical, we spent most of that time staying with people and working on the truck.
