If you are buying an image for personal or non-advertising use you don't have to do anything. If you want to use an image for advertising you will need an explicit permit for that usage.

PERMITS TO USE IMAGES OF ULURU AND/OR KATA TJUTA FOR COMMERCIAL PURPOSES WILL ONLY BE GIVEN APPROVAL WHEN APPLICATIONS:

• Are consistent with the maintenance of the Park's World Heritage, cultural and environmental values, and that the images are used to promote the cultural and natural values of the Park
• Relate directly to the specific scenery, environment and culture of the Park in it's regional context
• Are necessary to facilitate visitor enjoyment and appreciation of the Park, scenery and environment, and of appropriate elements of Anangu culture
• Have a clear and logical connection between the product and the Park. Advertising will not be permitted if it is seen to compromise, detract or trivialise the values of the Park as an important Aboriginal cultural area and an area of international environmental significance. All advertising images must present the local Aboriginal culture, environment, history, visitor use and management of the Park in a manner that is accurate and true in life.

Please note that advertising of such things as motor vehicles, fashions, food and drink, electrical goods, furniture, banking and investment corporations and the like will not be permitted
