What are specials?
In short, specials are photographs that I don't have room for.

It's very easy to think you're doing well if you only look at your photos on a computer screen, therefore I regularly make prints so I can follow the quality of my photography. Until lately I've been keeping the prints, but as we live in a truck there's no room to store them, and no walls on which to to hang them.

Also, when printing an order, I often do several other photos at the same time on a large sheet of paper. These extra photos become specials.

In the case of the black & white hand-printed photos, these are left over from a previous life when I had a gallery and a darkroom. There will never be any more of these.

NOTE: These specials are usually one-offs. Although extremely unlikely, it's possible I could get two (or more) orders before I can update the site, when there is only one print available. In this case it's first-in-best-dressed and I will get in touch with the following orderers to decide on a refund or another choice of photo.
