"Paris: the City of Light"
This article made heavy use of my shots including
two vertical double-page spreads as leaders.

The first version of this shot had
a man in it but I didn't like his pose so when he left I asked my wife
to take his place. Unfortunately she was too far away to easily communicate
with (this was taken with a 300mm lens). She got bored waiting for me
to finish and could not tell me directly, hence the body language.

An 18mm shot from under the Eiffel Tower. If you look carefully
you will see our VW Kombi in the car park. We used to regularly
sleep here (as did many others, often just sprawled on the
lawn) and had no trouble from the police as long as we were
up and about before the tourists arrived.

Looking across the Seine from the
Eiffel Tower.

This guy was doing the Parisian artist
bit near the Notre Dame. The painting was not very good.
