Well here I am on the cover of Wild magazine. This was the first time I deliberately took a shot with a cover in mind and voila, it worked.

The obvious things apply when shooting for covers, ie. it must be vertical and there must be room for the copy. But also remember to study previous covers, I've been reading Wild for years and know that their covers are usually simple shots of one or two people engaged in bushwalking activities, even just siting in camp.
