#00019, Paperbarks & Fog

I saw this image while driving on the Sunshine Coast Motorway just before dawn.

I had to play a delicate waiting game, I wanted some light from the rising sun to touch the side of the trees and highlight a leaf or two in the foreground. However the very sun I needed was also dissipating the band of fog which was also an integral part of the photo.

This has been one of my most popular images which goes to show that you don't necessarily have to slog for miles under a heavy pack to get good shots.
