#00056, Luminous Stream

I was rushing through the pre-dawn cold high in the Snowy Mountains on a mission to catch the sunrise from a nearby ridge when my eye was caught by this creek.

I liked way the light was reflecting from the many terraced pools in the stream but I was short on film and stood for several minutes deciding if it was worth a shot.

Eventually I elected to expose only one sheet of film (I normally take two, the second as a backup). While not a really strong image it still has a quite feel to it that I like.
