#00254, Sketching the Deua

We'd been camping at Bendethera Flats with fellow photographer Matt Kelso and his wife Alix. Alix enjoys drawing and I spotted her sitting on the river bank sketching the river.

With much haste I set the camera up and made the half-second exposure. The time was selected to give as much depth-of-field as possible while reducing the chance of Alix moving during the exposure.
