Dare to be different! Every man and his dog photographs this fountain (in the Jardin de Luxembourg?) with a standard or a wide-angle lens to get it all in. Often however just photographing a detail is better.
In this case I was fairly sure that the water would look good but of course you can never really tell, because the eye sees things like moving water differently to the camera.
For this reason I took several frames to increase my chances of a successful shot. As an added bonus, in this frame, some water splashed on the horse to create a little bit of extra interest.
The moving water and the angle of the horse makes this a quiet dynamic image, even though it's a static subject.
