#05388

This photo depicts three street lights in Sydney's China Town. By placing the camera on the lamp post, and pointing it straight up, I created an abstract view of the lights against the sky.

It's important to make this type of photo at the right time. Too early and the lights are not turned on, too late and the sky is too dark.

There's usually a half-hour or so "window of opportunity" around dusk.
