#10761

There's almost nowhere to camp at Cape Huay. This spot was really too small for my tent, and I would normally use a bivvy bag in a situation like this, but I had left it behind.

It was also impossible to use pegs so I weighed the tent's corners with rocks which meant it wasn't very stable, but a fine night was forecast, and the position was sheltered.

Even though I was lying on, and around, rocks, I spent a surprisingly comfortable night. Fortunately I'm not prone to sleep walking, that's a 150m (nearly 500 foot) drop over the edge of the rocks near the tent.
