I'd photographed this dolerite column earlier in the day, but had not got as close to the edge. It's 200 metres down and I wasn't game enough at the time.
Later, as the sun set, a brief burst of warm light shone through the clouds and transformed the scene. This time I forgot all about the edge and leaned out as far as possible to show as much of the column as I could.
