This is a pademelon shaking the rain from his fur.

These cute little kangaroo family marsupials wander freely around the campgrounds at Narawntapu National Park. I'd been sitting inside the motorhome watching them but too lazy to go out in the rain.

Then my wife mentioned how good they looked and that was enough to get me outside.

The use of a relatively slow shutter speed (1/60th) ensured that the drops blurred and the animal's rotary motion was obvious, thus enhancing the affect.

In this case, freezing the action with a fast shutter would have resulted in a less effective photo.
