#20000

This was one of the first photos I took with my new Canon 10D digital camera. We were camped in a car park next to Port Phillip bay, and I had been spending some time trying out the new gear.

When I saw the sun setting over the bay I decided to see how the camera handled this straight-into-the-setting-sun light.

As you can see it handled it just fine.

With the 2x converter, plus the 1.6x factor applied to lenses used on this digital camera, the 35mm-equivalent focal length was 640mm.

Melbourne, Vic
