At the top of the Grand Canyon the walls close in to almost touch each other. This shot was taken while standing in the creek, looking almost straight up and standing in freezing water, a very difficult shot physically.
The exposure was three minutes but I also made a negative at five minutes because it was just too dark to meter correctly.
As it happens the two negatives are almost indistinguishable even with this apparently vast difference in exposure. This is a good example of the affect of reciprocity failure.
