features |
Registered for four persons
Walk through to cab
Sleeps four very comfortably but can sleep 7 quite
OK
Drawback is its road speed about 80 km/hour but
. it gets there - e.g. Noosa to Tip (of
Cape York) two trips - last one in a hurry in
6 days
Despite its size has done the telegraph track
(had to winch out on southern side of Palm Creek)
Mechanically requires good maintenance - changed
a rear axle on Noosa North shore in 1998, rear
differential on beach at Eurong in 1999, and bush-mechanicking
when the tip of gearbox output shaft sheared between
Jardine River and Bamaga in 2000
