Way back in 1974 Alicia and I were close friends, almost partners in fact, but we never quite got there.

Nevertheless she was good looking and a willing model, I was an aspiring photographer, and we enjoyed each others company, so we spent a lot of time doing portrait shoots.

This image is by far my favourite from these sessions, the background is a deserted house in the small town of Cooma, I felt that the majority of the scene needed to be slightly fuzzy but I didn't have a soft-focus filter. It was however a cold morning so I simply breathed on the lens' front element and wiped the center clear with my shirt. This gave me a few seconds to take the photo before the condensation evaporated.
