It's 8:30am, I walk past tents and vans of all shapes and sizes as I leave the Carnarvon Gorge campground and cross Carnarvon Creek. Immediately I'm surrounded by an ancient forest of Spotted Gums, Cycads and Cabbage Palms and in the early morning light it's a great experience.
